We could tell you our techs know their way around a torsion spring converter or a MyQ logic board. But showing you matters more. The transformations below represent the kind of work we do across Austin every week, from Allandale to Westlake. Same house, same opening, two very different doors. The difference is a crew that shows up verified, prices the job on paper before touching a bolt, and stands behind it for 365 days.

Torsion Spring Replacement in Mueller

The homeowners in Mueller called on a Monday morning because their door wouldn’t budge and the car was inside. What we found was a snapped left torsion spring that had been original to the 2012 build, meaning it had cycled past its useful life years ago. Our tech removed both springs since pairing one new spring with one old one guarantees a repeat failure, then installed a matched pair rated for 30,000 cycles and rebalanced the door. From stuck shut to lifting with two fingers in under two hours, with the price written down and agreed before the first tool came out.
Genie Opener Retrofit with Battery Backup in Crestview

The old unit in this 1950s Crestview garage was a chain-drive opener that sounded like a cement mixer and shook the ceiling joists every time it ran. The owners wanted something quieter and something that wouldn’t strand them during an Austin power flicker. We pulled the old head and rail, installed a belt-drive Genie with a DC motor and integrated battery backup, then reprogrammed the keypad and both remotes. Now the only way you know the door is moving is because you can see it.
Full Door Replacement on a 1990s Home in Circle C

This Circle C home still had its builder-grade wooden door from 1996, and the bottom panel was spongy from years of sprinkler overspray. Beyond the rot, the door was uninsulated and the hardware rattled in the tracks. We measured the opening, ordered a Clopay steel door with a carriage-house stamping that kept the original curb appeal, and upgraded the track to a quiet, sealed-bearing setup. Insulation value improved enough that the adjacent laundry room is no longer ten degrees hotter than the rest of the house in August.
Off-Track Door Recovery in Pflugerville

A Pflugerville homeowner heard a loud pop and came out to find their two-car door frozen halfway up, cocked at an angle with the top section over their head. A roller had seized, worn down to the shaft, and jumped the track. We eased the door down safely, replaced the mangled hinge and both rollers on that panel, straightened the track, and ran the door through ten full cycles to confirm alignment. We also spotted the opener’s force setting was too high and dialed it back so the door stops before anything breaks next time.
LiftMaster Jackshaft Installation in a Hydropark Loft

This Hyde Park garage was already tight on headroom, and the owner wanted to install a ceiling storage rack where the old center-rail opener hung. We removed the rail-and-trolley opener and installed a LiftMaster jackshaft unit that mounts to the wall beside the spring tube and drives the shaft directly. No more rail running down the middle of the ceiling, no more trolley carriage clattering overhead. The wall-mount also has a built-in battery backup, deadbolt lock at the track, and MyQ connectivity the owner now uses to check whether he left the door open from three blocks away.
Panel Impact Repair in Round Rock

The Round Rock customer backed into their own garage door before it fully opened, which is more common than anyone wants to admit. The bottom panel was creased badly enough that the door wouldn’t seal and the section was binding in the track. We ordered a replacement panel from Amarr using the door’s serial number, which beats a repaint job for accuracy, then swapped the panel, re-tensioned the springs, and rebalanced the door. You can’t tell which panel was replaced from five feet away, and the door now closes flush against the slab again.
